REplanning

I added De Smet, South Dakota to the itinerary.  We are going to visit Walnut Grove, MN and De Smet is not really out of the way, it just adds about half hour of driving time to the route but we will get the full Ingalls, Wilder experience this way.  I had to go to AAA to get new maps so I can rehighlight with the changes but I actually got better maps this time. Glad we have AAA.  They were able to book some of the hotels for me and with the maps and online planning tools, they have really come in handy.  If you ever plan a roadtrip I would recommend using the triptik site from AAA.  I tried microsoft streets and trips but I find this is easier. 

I have tried to get the kids to choose one animal or doll to take along but Erik says he needs big Elly and little Elly because little Elly needs his daddy.  Couldn't argue with that.
